I don't dislike dogs -- i dislike their owners

I am searching for the perfect item to help shut my upstairs neighbor's dog the hell up. This dog howls and barks non-stop. REALLY!?!?!?

And when I am walking down the sidewalk and you are out walking fido -- have the decency to have your damn dog out of my way when I get up to you. Seriously!!! I am over having to dog your dogs leash and your dog, get it the fuck out of my way! And for you dog owners that don't pick up your dog poop -- i hope there is a special place in hell for you.

To those of you who are responsible and keep your dogs on a tight leash and clean up after them -- Thank you.

"As Seen On TV" is some obscure language for "We are going to sell you a piece of crap you sucker." -- so why do i love it so!? Do I need a banana tree? WHY YES I DO!!!! Do I need the slap chop -- WHY YES I DO!! Do I need the Magic Bullet? WHY YES I DO!!!!

Granted, I do love my Magic Bullet and would buy another one, but the list of things I have been screwed over on grows and grows and will still keep growing because i am a sucker for these gadgets -- just hoping the next one will be the answer to my prayers.

Oh and when they say fast growing blueberries -- don't believe it. They die. As does the banana tree!

I probably will never learn and will keep posting my buying failures on this blog. (not that anyone anywhere reads this)

Easter Rant - another "borrowed holiday"

I know it has been a while since I posted. I will do better. I have been a bit swamped and haven't had a chance to do much.

Today's rant is about Easter.

What the hell is it with people sending texts and e-mails wishing everyone a happy easter? I just started replying Jesus is dead to everyone who sent me the wish. I know they are just being nice, but I don't celebrate the day so why force your damn christian holiday on me. And to top it all off, Target was closed. I need contact solution damn it and it is cheaper at Target. Why do they need a whole day off to celebrate a false profit?

The only good thing about Easter is the candy. I love me some cadbury eggs. It is a shame they aren't around all the time. And thank you to other religions and traditions for letting christianity overwhelm you and take over the Easter Egg and other traditions. If it wasn't for the damn christians stealing everybody else's traditions, they would just have a dead guy on a cross.

In this wonderful political season, we are neglecting the "other" party. The Green Party which is full of crackpots and lunatics has a candidate that I had hoped would be hit by a car. Why the hell can't the West Coast grasp this simple concept. If you are on an escalator and are too damn lazy to walk up it, stand to the right so those of us who aren't lazy can get where we want to go and not stand behind your fat ass.

The East Coast has this down. If you say walk left stand right people get out of your way. On the West Coast they look at you like you have a second head.

The evolution of a blog

So last week was my first week at blogging. I was in a bit of a hurry and posted some "repostings" and I didn't really get the desired results that I anticipated. Well, I do admit that my blog isn't really to please people, but rather make them think.

I am going to work on making the blog more technical with pics and links etc. I plan on learning as I go along, so stick with me and you will see the evolution of the blog.

I also will not repost something like the Osama Obama post. Rather, I will make a comment on what the author has to say and then provide a link to the post. It appeared as a complete endorsement of the posting rather than something to make people think. I will admit that I didn't disagree with too much of it, but there was somethings in it that could have not worked well.

I plan to post funny videos, cartoons, articles that are interesting or funny or piss me off, or random rants that I have on an ongoing basis.

So stick with me. Check me out every couple days and let's see where this takes us.
