Shipping jobs overseas

Daily Rant #1:

I just got off the phone with my credit card company who clearly has shipped jobs overseas. This is very frustrating when you are already having difficulty trying to reset your password and access your account and then you call the help line and you can't even understand the person on the other end of the phone.

Unemployment is at 4.9% -- lets keep some of these jobs in our country!!!!!

On being politically correct (reposting)

The posting below is attributed to Andy Roony. I can't 100% validate that, but I am not CNN or the AP. He says many things that I have said throughout the years.

Andy Rooney said on "60 Minutes" a few weeks back:

I don't think being a minority makes you a victim of anything except numbers.. The only things I can think of that are truly discriminatory are things like the United Negro College Fund, Jet Magazine, Black Entertainment Television, and Miss Black America. Try to have things like the United Caucasian College Fund, Cloud Magazine, White Entertainment Television, or Miss White America; and see what happens...Jesse Jackson will be knocking down your door.

Guns do not make you a killer. I think killing makes you a killer. You can kill someone with a baseball bat or a car, but no one is trying to ban you from driving to the ball game.

I think that if you feel homosexuality is wrong, it is not a phobia, it is an opinion.

I have the right "NOT" to be tolerant of others because they are different, weird, or tick me off.

When 70% of the people who get arrested are black, in cities where 70% of the population is black, that is not racial profiling; it is the Law of Probability.

I believe that if you are selling me a milkshake, a pack of cigarettes, a newspaper or a hotel room, you must do it in English! As a matter of fact, if you want to be an American citizen, you should have to speak English!

My father and grandfather didn't die in vain so you can leave the countries you were born in to come over and disrespect ours.

I think the police should have every right to shoot you if you threaten them after they tell you to stop. If you can't understand the word "freeze" or "stop" in English, see the above lines.

I don't think just because you were not born in this country, you are qualified for any special loan programs, government sponsored bank loans or tax breaks, etc., so you can open a hotel, coffee shop, trinket store, or any other business.

We did not go to the aid of certain foreign countries and risk our lives in wars to defend their freedoms, so that decades later they could come over here and tell us our constitution is a living document; and open to their interpretations.

I don't hate the rich I don't pity the poor.

I know pro wrestling is fake, but so are movies and television. That doesn't stop you from watching them.

I think Bill Gates has every right to keep every penny he made and continue to make more. If it ticks you off, go and invent the next operating system that's better, and put your name on the building.

It doesn't take a whole village to raise a child right, but it does take a parent to stand up to the kid; and smack their little behinds when necessary, and say "NO!"

I think tattoos and piercing are fine if you want them, but please don't pretend they are a political statement. And, please, stay home until that new lip ring heals. I don't want to look at your ugly infected mouth as you serve me French fries!

I am sick of "Political Correctness." I know a lot of black people, and not a single one of them was born in Africa ; so how can they be "African-Americans"? Besides, Africa is a continent. I don't go around saying I am a European-American because my great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather was from Europe. I am proud to be from America and nowhere else

And if you don't like my point of view, tough...

God's Messenger........Fred Phelps (waste of flesh)

Warning: I am very anti-religion and there will be lots of postings on this about religion and how I think they are all worthless.

Well at the top of the religion dung pile is the westboro church led by Fred Phelps. This man is the poster child for abortion.

Let me first say -- yes I am a fag and damn proud of it. It wasn't a choice!! I was lucky enough to be born this way.

Now to Fred Phelps. What a tool. I almost don't want to comment on him as to not give him attention, but I have to. I have seen him first hand when Matthew Shepard died. How dare this waste of flesh protest funerals. I have also seen him protest a supreme court judge's funeral and I know he protests at military funerals. Someone do us a favor and run this guy over -- and the rest of his family. I don't care how old they are.

When this man dies, I hope we all protest his funeral. And if there is a hell, he is going their in gasoline pants.

To see this man check out this link. It actually made me laugh. (anyone think he looks like the evil guy from poltergeist?)

Experience vs. Hope (Election Topic)

In this heated political season, we are hearing alot about Experience vs Hope or even change. Now I must say that the person who wrote this sometimes is a bit crazy, but this makes complete and perfect sense to me.

The following is from Roseanne Barr

Posted February 22, 2008 | 11:52 AM (EST)

When I fly in an airplane I want the pilot with the most experience, not the one who can inspire hope in me that I get to where I am going. When I pay my taxes, I want the person filing them to be experienced, not the new person who inspires hope in me that he can do the job. When I hire someone to fix my washing machine, I want the tried and true experienced person, not the one who inspires me to hope that he can fix it. When I go to the doctor I do not want to get the one who inspires hope in me that s/he can cure what's wrong, but the one who knows what the hell to do the minute I call. It's not really the job of a public servant to inspire, but to get the job that the people demand done. The democrats think that if they have hope and are inspired things will get better, but they actually won't. When Oprah makes her employees sign her fifty page non-disclosure statement, she doesn't "hope" they can't break it, she pays teams of experienced lawyers to MAKE SURE they can't break it, or be sued in an experienced court by an experienced judge.

In the beginning......

Welcome to the first posting of The Oracle of Iniquity. Why this name do you ask? Well in this world of political correctness, I have decided to say what is on my mind and share what is on the minds of other people who are not afraid to say what they feel and think. You will see postings from me, comments on news articles, and repostings of items that I think have something to say or just fun items that make me laugh. I am not going to be malicious just honest and say what I think, if you take it wrong or don't agree, you don't have to read my blog.

Oracle = a divine communication or revelation. (I don't claim to be divine, nor do I believe in the divine, but these are my own personal revelations)

Iniquity = 1. gross injustice or wickedness. 2. a violation of right or duty; wicked act; sin (my goal is to show how crazy our own media, government and political correctness have proven to be a gross injustice)

That being said, I hope you enjoy what you read and if you don't enjoy it, I hope it at least makes you think.

Yours,
The Oracle of Iniquity
